In all honesty, cranberry Township is a great place to live for pretty penny. Although, there is not much variety of things to do for fun here, but it is close to Pittsburgh and other surrounding areas with a lot of fun things to do! I’ve enjoyed growing up here because I always feel safe and go to a very nice school, Seneca Valley school District.
Cranberry Township is an excellent place to live, despite the gloomy Pittsburgh weather. The safety it provides is wonderful, even with the large population it endures. It is an extremely lively suburb that has every grocery store, restaurant, and store that you could ask for. It is also in a great school district: Seneca Valley. There are also wonderful parks that are great for exercise, sports, and/or entertainment. The only change I would make is there is not a ton of activities for teenagers. I would like to see fun places added to Cranberry, allowing teens to stay occupied with healthy and safe things to do, while having fun.
Quiet, nice and clean town, friendly people. Traffic is horrible. There is an underground tunnel on the works to ease the traffic. If you are concerned about the noise. Commuting to Pittsburgh or taking your kids to school is insane. A five minute ride can take up to an hour. I’m not exaggerating. Restaurants are mostly chain restaurants and the food they serve is bland. A few decent mom and pops due to high taxes. Internet and cable are over $100 per month and going up. Armstrong has been providing internet and cable and no other company can come to town. Armstrong is horrible check their reviews online. Housing market is always going up so are taxes. Utilities went up. Homes are always for sale. Some homes are under foreclosure check Zillow. Public school is excellent. The township and library have programs for kids that are always full due to overcrowding. Fun for all; arcades open, most activities are closed. Pool mem is over $100, buy daily pass for an hour. Can’t do much.
