Charter Oak Unified School District is very good! While other schools and districts were abolishing their arts programs, COUSD understood the value of the arts in education and maintained their excellent programs for their students offering incomparable opportunities for performance and travel for their students.

Covina, CA is a great place to live in. Very friendly and full of opportunity! Growing up through the education in this city was great as it provided me with everything I needed. Overall, Covina is super friendly and safe for your family.
I own a home in Covina and I have to say for paying property taxes our city could be much cleaner. They need to clean up the homeless people and grocery stores should implement the lock system on their carts. I find tons of carts and garbage on our street and also notice the city provides little to no lighting in the residential areas. I believe this has contributed to a lot of crime and graffiti on our streets. Covina needs to step it up and stop letting more chain fast foods and discount stores into the area resulting in unwanted riff raff. I literally live around the corner from a shopping center but refuse to walk there because I feel unsafe. If I would have known all this before I bought I would have stayed renting. Disappointing!
