I'm not 21 so I can't comment on the bars, but there are a lot of really good restaurants around the city, especially pizza, ice cream, and chilli. My favorite restaurants are Dewey's Pizza, Ambar Indian, and Skyline Chili.

It depends on the field, but there are a lot of jobs for people in fields like engineering and marketing, as P&G is headquartered here and many other large companies are here as well.
There are lots of cute little boutiques and interesting restaurants that are owned locally, and add a lot of personality to the city.
