Having lived in the suburbs all my life I can definitely say that it has been very pleasant. The people, the atmosphere, and the way of life in a suburb is very nice and calm. I enjoy it very much so because of the way people treat one another, with the respect and kindness we all deserve. The hustle and bustle of the city can not compete with the serene and just peaceful atmosphere of the suburban way of life. I can most definitely say that living in a suburb has its perks and advantages.

It's a beautiful place to live. The area is nice, is surrounded by lakes, has plenty of great schools, and the people are friendly!
Recently I moved to Florida from Wisconsin in order to further my education at Broward college. Although I am living with my boyfriend and we are happy together, I am quite disappointed about the atmosphere in Hialeah. Elementary, middle, and high school's in this area need severe improvement in their academic scores, with few exceptions. In my previous location in Wisconsin, it was very easy to find a good neighborhood with a good school. However, here, I now have to worry about going into crime ridden areas in which I must fear for my safety. Thankfully, I feel safe on the campus of Broward College, and am grateful that the students on that campus treat me fairly.
