Council Bluffs has been my home since birth but it is scarcely the same little city it once was. It is now a great mix of city and rural areas and everything in between. It offers something for everyone, whether you are old or young, single or married, large family or small. I love that we have some large chain stores and restaurants but also have our own unique small businesses that sprouted right here.

Council bluffs has a wide array of socioeconomic layers; however is lacking in rich diversity of ethnic backgrounds. Minorities are largely under-represented. This has improved over the years but it could still be better.

Still loving the small town feel with big city amenities.

It's been pretty good, still trying to adjust to a small town. The people here tend to be very to themselves. The job opportunities are very good here, I currently work for a person from my church. The people who live here are generally friendly and personal. The town is very spread out making it hard to get to place to place without a vehicle. The bus system is very poor, when I was waiting for the bus every day after class and it was very inconvenient. Planning my day was a necessary part of my commute.
Council Bluffs is your average Mid-west town. You see a lot of drugs here unfortunately, and a lot of mental illness, a lot of homeless people. But there are great things about Council Bluffs too. The people are friendly, the atmosphere is great, you'll never find more chaotic weather than here!
