Cos Cob Reviews

We moved here about 5 years ago and love Cos Cob, it feels a bit more low key than other parts of Greenwich, with a fabulous little ‘town’ area that has a great cheese shop, home shops and restaurants (love Louies, Roost, and Coast) and very “central” with easy access to the beach in OG and Greenwich Ave in either direction. We love the views of Mianus river and easy access to hiking trails.
We are in North Street school district which we have heard very good things about and there are a lot of young families nearby. Just in the last year 3 young families moved onto our block.
Real estate, while still very expensive, feels like you get a bit more than you would in OG and Riverside (without some of the flooding issues in those neighborhoods) and there are more newer builds it seems.
All in all, we are loving Cos cob!

I've always lived here and I've enjoyed it for the most part. It's a nice community but I wish there were more affordable small businesses. Most restaurants in town are pricey, and most residents here are not the wealthiest people.
It has a very neighborhood feel which is really nice and welcoming to new, young families. There is a lot of turnover with houses happening now and, if that continues, I think it will become five stars.
