Corry is a very very small town. If you're looking for something fun to do, going to Walmart is your best option. While the size of the town makes it a little charming and it's nice to know basically everyone in town, it gets awfully boring real quick. The schools are decent. There are some really great teachers, but also some really bad ones. The administration is known for being pretty unhelpful. There's only a handful of restaurants so if you don't like to cook, you'll find yourself going to McDonalds more often than you would hope.
I have lived in Corry my whole life & am now currently raising two children here after I bought my first house . My opinion of Corry is that it isn’t as safe as it used to be & the price of everything is going up & the potholes are absolutely terrible in this little town. The pay rate at jobs isn’t enough to live comfortably. For young families it’s hard to find work unless you know someone to help you get in somewhere. There is also not much to do in town at all , there’s a few parks for the kids but during the winter months it’s hard . Very hard unless you commute to Erie to take them to arcades and such . I don’t recommend Corry to anyone and I am positive that one day Corry will no longer be home for my family as it goes up and down I feel as if everything dies here . New business and such doesn’t ever last long . Lots of older folks who don’t want to see change & that’s the problem . The world is changing and CORRY isn’t.
Corry isn't anything spectacular. It's a small town, plenty of nice people and little stores to find. But aside from that, there's a lot of run down houses, lack of opportunity, and generally depressing atmosphere.
