Corpus Christi is the sparkling city on the bay! Only, a little less sparkly and little more in need of a touch-up (or two). Corpus has great qualities until you hit the freeway towards San Antonio and realize such a vast difference in terms of modernness and just the overall upkeep. Corpus' roads are the utmost worst. Rapidly deteriorating, every street you turn on consists of pot-holes and overall unevenness; especially the main road of the city - Ocean Drive. Among numerous other complaints such as dirty beaches, lack of nightlife activities (C'mon, we have 2 big colleges!), and congested roads not meant for the amount of people actually living here; Corpus has the potential to be among the greatest cities in Texas where when you visit you never want to leave!

Corpus Christy is a smaller city in comparison to my hometown of Fort Worth/Dallas. Corpus Christi lacks the hustle and bustle of a bigger city, however, it makes it up through having the ability of developing close relationships as everyone knows eachother. The best part of Corpus Christi is however, the beach! The beach of Corpus Christi allows for the relationships you may make, to be brought to life while playing and swimming at the beach.
If you like running into the same people several times at Coffee Waves or Logan's Roadhouse, then this is the place for you. It's small! I like the convenience. However, the infrastructure of this place is pretty blehhh. The main issue is that the majority of the roads here are GARBAGE! Road construction has been past due for some time now. The traffic is annoying for a small city as well. Claustrophobic-Inducing. It's by the beach so that's nice! Basically, if the roads were better and the landscaping was nicer, this would just be a congested, small town. Everything is on SPID (South Padre Island Dr.) which causes most of the traffic. Downtown needs to be renovated for sure!
