It’s a great city, except for some of the parks downtown which are full of homeless people. Every school there is great as well!
One big experience that I have in Corona is the traffic. I can barely get to school on time because it could take me up to an hour to drive just 2 miles. That is something I would like to see change. Something I like about Corona is the farmers market, however I wish there were more community events similar to the farmers market, and more often.
Never been there. Just passed through on the freeway but I am hoping to move to Corona real soon to be close to my granddaughter who lives in Orange County California
I have lived here since I was 4 years old and its a nice and calm environment for people to enjoy. I so many good memories here because of how secure I feel, most of here is clean and and I haven't experienced many event of discomfort. Most of my good memories consist of me at the Corona public library, parks as well as shopping centers. There are lots of stores near by which I like since I don't have to go on long car rides to get to where I need to go.
Beautiful Suburb not far from the big city LA and also close to a lot of other nice things like the beach or the mountains. Lots to do in the area as well.
Corona has its good and bad sides to it ,but overall a safe and caring community. A lot of the areas are under the influence of HOA ,but HOA is not as harsh in the residential areas.
I feel very mixed on the matter because in the part of Corona where I grew up, it was considered a poor neighborhood. The culture surrounding said neighborhood also played a role because of the many crimes, which influenced many people of my age especially into not focusing on their studies.
Born and raised and just like any cities, it has it's good and bad areas in the town. Just have to pick the right place and location based on your preferences. It is family friendly as there are many things to do and it is a big city.
I have lived here all 18 years of my life, and I can say I am very pleased with my experience. We have the best parks, it can get real green in the winter and according to my mom every few seconds, "it looks like Switzerland!" The weather is never too harsh and we get a few storms here and there that always remind you there is truly no place like sunny California. We're an hour drive from LA, the beach, the mountains, desert, and of course, Disneyland. Corona is for people who want an adventure on a weekend but know they want to be back by Sunday night in their PJ's. I am proud to say I grew up here.
Small-town life is not for everyone definitely need a car to live here. Schools are some of the tops in the state.
Overall my experience living in Corona has been great. Lots of convenient shops around, as well as dining options. Also, most everyone we've come across has been kind and likable. The only thing I'd like to see is more community events.
Corona is a small little city near Norco and Riverside. I love living here and I remember being fairly proud of some of our history. Corona is known as the Circle City and used to host races on this one road that sits in the shape of a circle. When I look on Google Maps, Corona stands out with the circular road. Our city isn't one of the most advanced locations in terms of updated housing and roads, but it is one of the safest. I used to always walk from middle school to the local 99 cents store to pick up snacks before crossing the street and heading straight to the library. If I could choose anywhere to have my future children grow up, I'd probably choose Corona.
What I enjoy about corona is the nice weather and how diverse the community is around here. Something I would love to see change would probably be the bad traffic that caused the freeway to shutdown a couple of times.
When we moved here 15 years ago, there weren't many shopping and food options compared to Orange & LA County. However, it has expanded through the years and there are many more things to do and see.
Just moved here and I love it. its diverse super welcoming. the environment is way different than my old community
Not far from most things fun. It doesn’t take long to get to most places. I would change the construction times to late night as to cut down on the amount of traffic build up that happens during daylight hours.
I have lived in Corona for over 10 years now and it's a nice place, there are so many different restaurants, stores, and thrift shops to try out.
