Cornwall-on-Hudson is a very enjoyable living environment. There is a strong sense of community among all residents. If one walks into a simple coffee shop, it is likely they will run into at least five people that they know well. The schools are very competent, along with safety. It is a wonderful place to raise a family.

Cornwall on Hudson is a sleepy and historic town. People tend to have some money to live here and often flock here for the good school district and potentially move elsewhere to retire due to high taxes. There are a couple decent restaurants and a good library but if you like excitement looks elsewhere. Good opportunity to commune with nature or view the Hudson River.
Cornwall is the perfect small family town. While completely secluded from the hustle and bustle of city life, Cornwall is only an hour and a half by car from New York City. The ease of access to the most important city in the world and the safety of a small town with gorgeous views Cornwall is the perfect town.
