Overall the area of Oil City, PA is an okay place to live. That is if you enjoy a rural environment with friendly people. The things to do in this area is limited, but areas with various activities are relatively close by.

There are not as many employment/growth opportunities in the area as there were when we moved here.
After living in a big city, this area does not have the variety or quality of goods and services. There is only 2 salons, 2 laundromats, 3 grocery stores and very few other shops.
