It's definitely a great place for a family. It's very safe, very clean, and there's an abundance of places to enjoy. The nearby stores are inexpensive, the gas stations are reasonable, and the people you meet on the streets are friendly. My only complaint is the nearby public schools - Glencoe and Forest Grove High School are both trashy and full of drug users.
The best part about Cornelius is how at home everyone feels. There are many shops that fit well within the community. For example, there are many Hispanic stores around here that any Latino can visit and find what they need for a regular day. There are also a few churches that anyone can be a part of. Cornelius also has a community center where any type of events can take place. For instance, church gatherings often happen in the community center. Many individuals also attend distinct types of classes in this location. Cornelius may not need a change at this moment but future changes are always welcome.
Majority of the time, it's a very quiet neighborhood where you can walk around with friends. Most stores are in walking distance and there are several parks. I've always loved this town, it's my home.
