I have lived in Cornelius all of my life and have enjoyed living in this southern small town greatly. I grew up around the city either going on Lake Norman in the summer time with my family, or bundling up for the occasional snow day, which any amount of snow would cancel school, we received in the winter. Cornelius is located right outside of Charlotte, North Carolina, where I go frequently for sporting events, group gatherings or just for dinner and a night out on the town. The people of Cornelius are very welcoming and always love to meet the new neighbors coming every year!

Cornelius is a very friendly city with wonderful, kind people and beautiful Lake Norman. There are good schools and always many opportunities in the arts and in the community to be involved and active. There are great churches, restaurants and outdoor adventures. The arts are also very alive with outdoor festivals and theatres.
The town in very accessible as it is only 30 minutes outside of Charlotte, depending on traffic. The Charlotte sports teams include the Charlotte Panthers and the Charlotte Knights It is also easy access to neighboring town of Davidson, which is home to Davidson College.
The beautiful lake, Lake Norman is fun for everyone and has beautiful sunset views. Lake Norman has many beautiful homes and coves to enjoy. There are also many race car drivers living here.
Great location, close to Charlotte and Davidson. Access to Lake Norman. Many good parks to enjoy. Easy access to green ways and bike trails. Local arts and entertainment are everywhere. Tons of restaurants and bars. You really can’t compare it to any other area in or around Charlotte.
