It's a nice urban city. It's not too far from Iowa City, Iowa which is the home of the University of Iowa Hawkeyes. There's great football games and parties downtown Iowa City. Coralville has a nice mall with an ice skating rink, lots of choices for dining and things to do.

The people here are welcoming. There are all walks of life who live here. The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics brings lots of diversity to our area. It is a very safe place to live. The high schools are highly ranked in the state as well.

The place is nice it has a lot of options of stores and different jobs available to all people. But the overall maintenance of the town can be quite poor sidewalks are mostly broken riddled with cracks, sometimes their are side walks where their really doesn't ned to be while a street or section that doesn't have a sidewalk desperately needs it. it can be dangerous for those who don't have a car to drive around and must walk or use other unmotorized transportation to get around and with these problems it can be concerning for those trying to be safe on the streets. They're should be better transit points and busses available to patrons as their is not much and usually are at random times throughout the day that don't really work for the who need to work or get somewhere far.
Coralville is a great place for people to raise a family or for couples just starting out. There are homes across all price ranges, plenty of retail, lots of restaurants, parks, bike trails, movie theaters, easy access on/off highways and close to the University of Iowa (Go Hawkeyes!) and art, culture and nightlife in downtown Iowa City. Coralville itself has reasonable taxes, is safe, and still growing. We've lived here after living in Atlanta, Boston, Greater NYC, Chicago suburbs, and Seattle. Have to say it's one of the best places we've ever lived for overall quality of life, affordability and safety.
