Conyers is a suburb area on the outskirts of atlanta is twenty-four miles east of Atlanta. .Conyers has many excited places Monastery of the Holy Spirit, cathedral is beautiful, cool and quiet with soaring white arches and contemporary stained glass made on site. There's a very good gift shop with food items, jewellery and textiles from all over the world as well as books and devotional objects. Come solo, as a couple, with family of all ages. Haralson Mill Bridge is Excellent place to experience nature, peaceful, quiet, and great photo opportunities. Also neat to see the way things used to be built.Last but definitely not least,The Dinky is a 1905 Rogers steam locomotive that hauled cotton bales from the main line to the textile mill on the Yellow River. It is permanently located across the tracks from the Conyers Historic Train Depot. The locomotive once ran rail service between Conyers to Milstead. The engine is one of three left in the world. There's something for everyone.

The elementary schools and quite nice, but that’s about it. The Middle and High schools rarely do anything to counteract bullying. The dress codes are overly strict and girls with a developed shape are more likely to get targeted or sent to the office over attire that someone skinnier is also wearing. There’s also a school called RCA that highschooler's have the option of going to, and though they portray themselves as a school of utmost excellence the staff there is less than mediocre. The higher up staff rarely smile and look for any reason to get someone in trouble. If you search them up, they also had a teacher threaten to put a bullet in a kid’s head. The only redeemable quality about this county is that it has nice houses for a good price.
I lived in Conyers from 1994-2005 (age 7-18). To this day, I still have family that live in Conyers and I visit often (now age 32). With all that said, I have a lot to say about Conyers.

Pros: There are areas/neighborhoods I feel are still very nice and relatively safe. I love the vibe in Olde Town Conyers and the festivals and events at the Horsepark.

Cons: The schools have deteriorated over the years. The quality of education, along with school fights, for me, make the school undesirable. The population has tripled over the years. The area feels oversaturated and crowed. Traffic is a major problem and wait time for restaurants gets annoying. Oh, and customer service in town is TERRIBLE. Longterm residents want to move, but home values have fallen terribly over the years.
