great place to live, easy access to everything you need. Close enough to the beach but do not have to live in the traffic. Great restaurants to eat at, amazing night life, family friendly environment. River life experience as well, kayaking, sight seeing, holiday events, downtown stores are a must see!

My experience in Conway, Sc has been exciting! I've seen so many different things such as the rivers, attractions, businesses, and more! I plan to see more attractions in Conway like Myrtle beach has.
Conway has more parks and river landing access than most of the towns in SC. I enjoy outdoor activities so this is a major plus. The rent and housing prices were pretty low in 2012 when I moved to this county, but they are rapidly increasing. The wages are very low, even in professional jobs, so living here long-term is not really an option for younger people who don't already have a lot of money or own their own business. Most state jobs do not offer cost-of-living raises; people make the same wage for 10+ years. There are not many apartment complexes at all, and they are either low-income housing or extremely overpriced. It took me months to find an apartment that fit my needs. Property taxes are on the lower end.
