I have just recently moved to Contoocook from another small, but much worse, town in Vermont. Overall this town has been absolutely amazing since I've moves here and I would definitely recommend living here to everyone!
Contoocook is an amazing community, a beautiful suburb of Concord. Very rural, with a wonderful small-town feel, very Norman-Rockwell-like. Housing can be a little expensive, but that’s because everyone wants to live here.
I moved to Contoocook in the middle of my junior year. When I first got here I thought that I was in the middle of nowhere. There are a lot of trees, local stores, local supermarket called colonial, a pizzeria called dimities and Hopkinton High School. It is a very small town and because of its size we sometimes say we live in Hopkinton. It was great to live in this town because my family and I had to go through big changes and the fact that it was small to situate ourselves made our lives easier. On the other hand, we are far from any malls or big cities.
