Troy, Ohio is a fabulous place to raise children. The schools are wonderful with lots of resources available. The weather is not horrible as the winters are not treacherous and the summers are not deadly. As a heavily protestant town, they hold a lot of value to tradition and modesty. It has all the small town luxuries but its population is not too minuscule, so business is doing moderately well. However, as an young adult it can be an extremely boring place. Although, there are other cities nearby so its not insufferable. Plus, it does have its little secrets and treasures, as there are interesting creeks and waterfalls throughout this little town.

There is no visible crime in this area, such as assaults and stealing. However, there are cases of vandalism and other small crimes. Plus, its known that there is a drug problem in these small towns when you get to certain parts of the neighborhood. In most of this town, you can proceed down these streets without fear day or night.
I have heard crimes through the newspaper and social networking, but I have never really experienced any crimes.
