Concord is great and very safe. Great place for families and those interested in the outdoors. Not a lot of night life, and most places close early, but that's not always a bad thing! The public schools are plentiful and it is a great system, but there are also a number of private schools available. Close to the White Mountains and about an hour outside of Boston, so if you are looking to go to a game or experience a higher volume of night life it's not far away. Alternatively, Manchester NH is only about 20 minutes away and also offers more nightlife, but it not as safe as concord.
There is a giving spirit throughout our small city. We encourage one another through a true sense of unity in community. The people here are truly helpful, friendly, safe, outgoing, & dedicated to one another.
We are a multi-cultural melting pot of ethnic diversity enabling an array of flavorful food, great artisans, music, varied entertainment, natural resources, scenic hideaways, with many historical figures and landmarks.
Small farmlands are interspersed with single family homes. The inner city is growing with a greater need for more affordable housing due to the shortages everywhere.
Entrepreneurship is growing. Due to being a "smaller city" the commute time is relatively short. There are job openings in most industries. We have 2 local colleges which are the lowest cost in the state per credit.
Overall, it's a place to raise your family.

Concord vibrates with energy, from its well-established downtown with mainstays like Pitchfork Records and new cafes to its suburban shopping district. Its medical complexes have excellent standards, it contains a number of university and college campuses, and it is an easy commute from several charming New England towns. As the state capitol, it draws everyone who is interested in New Hampshire's future, from politicos to activists to ordinary citizens. Clean, constantly beautified, and always entertaining, Concord welcomes everyone.
