Commerce Reviews

Commerce is a fantastic city. What I appreciate most about commerce are its serenity and calmness. One feature that distinguishes Texas A&M University is its university. It has transformed Commerce Town into a tourist attraction, attracting people from all walks of life, the majority of whom are students. I like how the cost of living in Commerce is lower than in other towns/cities in Texas. As is common in commerce, public transportation is a major concern. I wish there were public buses like in Dallas and Houston to transport people around.
One thing I love about Commerce is the small town feeling. Everything is a two minute drive away so it is so easy to spend time with friends and family. Plus, Commerce is a college town so there are many people here my age that makes me feel more understood and welcome because many people here are living a similar lifestyle as me. College students being in a town together helps keep them motivated because we all have due dates and school stress. I also love the small businesses here and it feels good to get to support the family businesses in town. Lastly, I really love that there are a lot of trees here. Being from Houston, trees are something I have taken for granted in the past and didn’t realize it until being able to see them every day. It’s a nice reminder of God’s creation and being surrounded by it is so encouraging to me.
Commerce is an extremely friendly and welcoming town. We may not be big in size but that's exactly what makes it so great! Neighbors are kind and children are cheerful. It's always a good day when festivals are held in Commerce because everyone is ready to have a good time. Couldn't have had a better hometown!
