Columbine Reviews
Rating 3.98 out of 5 60 reviews
I have lived here for 18 years (all my life pretty much), and I truly call this place home. I went to the local elementary school, Dutch Creek Elementary, and I absolutely loved it. On top of the education, the neighborhood is fairly safe too! With this, it makes our community very family friendly and family oriented. It isn't that expensive to live here either as there are plenty of options in owning or renting a home here. If you're not quite ready for a home yet, there are apartment complexes to meet your needs as well. During the day, you will notice that residents in this neighborhood are quite active. Every once in a while, you will see people walking, jogging and spending time with their pet. Columbine West is truly a great place to grow up in and to settle down in.
Although, CO is getting more and more populated, there is still beautiful scenery and parks to visit, as well as skiing. There is a lot to do in CO. Since we have very hot weather to extreme snow, you can be swimming one season and skiing the next! The only hardship is the cost of living. I am not sure that I will be able to afford to buy a house here in CO and may have to move to have a better quality of life purely because of expenses.
Quiet, safe neighborhood with all the close-by amenities. Great schools, parks, and access to mountains, lakes, hiking, fishing, as well as shopping malls and retail outlets.
