I love the small town. Much more accepting than larger cities surrounding us. I had a very negative experience where we lived , about 12 miles away. We moved here to get away from all of the drama. The high school is good here. The teachers care and know about the students. The class sizes are smaller that what I have had in the past. You feel at home here. All of our favorite places are within a 5 mile radius. We have several antique stores, they are cool. Columbiana’s Main Street is a big deal. There are always parades and events for the family. We also have many different churches. Our church specifically is always busy. There is always outreach through the community. It seems like we have everything you need here. There is a pretty big lake just a few miles away. It isn’t difficult to take your boat to the lake every weekend during the summer.
Living in such a small community is such a blessing. I love everyone around me. The public schools are so diverse and my principle is so amazing. I've recieved so much support from those around me.
No places to shop for food or nothing for the younger generation to do in the town, no enough diversity for African americans and it seems to be at a stand still
