I'm currently visiting with my 96 year old father in Colonie, NY and, I am so glad he lives here. The residents are very friendly and the shopping is great. And, you can't beat the town's services. Today, the town's collectors of recyclables and garbage went out of their way to help my father when he wasn't prepared for the collection.

Close knit community that is safe and welcoming. I've lived here my whole life and I love it here! It has everything you want and need from retail to parks. Everyone here is very friendly and dependable if you ever need help.
I would like more of a variety of restaurants. There are only so many times you can eat chicken parm! Maybe some Thai cuisine!
