As a 17 year old that has lived in Colleyville since age 5, I highly recommend the area. I've found that it's very safe and a good distance away from Dallas and Fort Worth without being in the middle of nowhere. Colleyville is a little quieter than some of the other cities in the area, but very friendly and classy. It has a other of gated communities so it's a great choice for younger kids and older adults to feel safe, as well as anyone else who desires a gated community. The schools are alright, but just a little trashy depending on where you go. I went to Liberty Elementary, South Keller Intermediate, Indian Springs Middle, and currently go to Keller High School and I can say with confidence that Keller ISD has a much better education system than GCISD. It's a little weird to go to a different school district than some people in the area, but it's worth it, as I've found from the friends I have that go to GCISD schools. I hope this review was helpful. See you in Colleyville :)

Such a great community! Not only is there a cute community newsletter of recent events and activities to be made aware of, but there are also a wide variety of community participation in these events. Great schools, friendly neighbors, and a great connection to the nightlife in Dallas just 30 minutes away.
Colleyville is a great, safe place to reside. Very close to events/work in Dallas and Fort Worth along with plenty of other surrounding cities. The DFW airport is also conveniently close. However, I would enjoy if there were more events within the city.
