Lived in College Station all my life. Growing up, College Station was a safe place to live. Just like any other state, you will endure some rowdiness from time-to-time but overall, it's an okay environment to raise your kids. I did stay in the house most of the time, due to my parents sheltering me, but when I did get out to play, I was able to have a good time with the other kids in the neighborhood, and who also attended the same school. College Station Elementary is the only school in College Station but there is a more variety of childcare. We do have a post office, health clinic, civic center and a wide variety of churches you can join. We have a community park with swings, a slide and basketball court. We also have a baseball field for any one to come and play. To this day, I, as well as my family still reside in College Station. It's our home. We love our home and the people in it. The community in College Station is very close-knit. We are like family. We welcome you to visit.
There are not many shopping choices to speak of in Conway. If you want an actual shopping trip, you have to travel to Little Rock. There are plenty of grocery stores available though, so grocery and other home items are readily available.
This town is great. They welcome all college student and they love the students.
