Colfax is a great little town with a population of about 3,000 people give or take a hundred. I grew up in the local school district with excellent teachers, peers, and an education. Most people in Colfax are huge fans of high school sports, and since Washington State University is only 20 minutes away, college sports. Everyone is good at a large variety of things, since most of our students are both athletes, scholars, parts of clubs, and in the music program. It's a great place to grow up and I have a great foundation because of it.

Colfax is a wonderful town for families. The schools are great and the community is very friendly. We live in an area of Colfax that is home to many of the sheriffs and is a very family friendly area. We have no worries about our kids walking around on their own and we love that. The schools are one of the best attractions. the teachers are great and very modernized. They are wonderful at communicating with parents about what is going on in class and keeping us informed. We are very happy with Colfax. The location is also great because it is a small community, but only 1 hour from the second largest city in Washington and about 15 minutes from the largest University in Washington. This provides some job opportunities and it also provides opportunity for recreation.
Colfax is a great small community that is within close driving distance, to many higher population areas.
