I moved to Closter when I was 7 years old and lived in an original Dutch Sandstone Colonial Home built in the late 1700s. It sits on the corner of a quiet cul de sac of contemporary homes on the East Hill. The most attractive qualities of the town include its convenient location for NYC commuters, under 20 minutes to both the GWB and TPZ Bridge. The town offers scenic suburban lifestyle, with a revitalized downtown area that includes Whole Foods, Home Goods, Orange Theory, Cycle Bar, Target, Movie Theater, salons, Doctor's offices, Parks, a great library and Blue Ribbon Schools. (Hillside Elementary School and Tenakill Middle School).

Closter is a very well-off town in the Northeast corner of Bergen County. While the increased wealth is visible from other towns in Bergen County, Closter attracts a lot of diversity, including large populations of Israelis, Indians, Koreans, and others, especially at younger ages like mine. There is a growing sense of community, with public and private occasions tailored for all varieties of people throughout the year. Closter brings the comforts of a small town with the variety. There are nearly ten public parks, a well-maintained nature center, and an incredibly developed and vibrant downtown.
Overall, Closter is a wonderful town.

First, it has outstanding downtown which has Chipotle, Starbucks, Wholefoods, Target, and more all in vicinity.

Furthermore, it is a town where children can safely walk around during both day and nigh time.

Education at this town is also superb as Northern Valley Regional Demarest High School is one of the most competitive and prestigious high schools in the Bergen County Region.
