Clinton Township Reviews
Clinton Township is the quintessential small town that offers peace, quiet, and opportunities for all to explore the beautiful nature of its rural setting. The town is most well known for its red mill and adjoining waterfall, which has inspired many pictures and paintings to be made. Overall as a resident in Clinton I would say that while it is not bustling with life like a large city would, it offers a great sense of community.
Clinton Township has so many great resources to offer: a thriving downtown with excellent small businesses where the owners take pride in their services and support each other; tons of outdoor recreation in the form of parks, trails and preserved land; and an excellent school system. It is a warm community where we were greeted with cookies and welcome cards when we moved in. It's also convenient for commuting due to proximity to route 78. There's always something new to explore in beautiful Hunterdon County and we're so happy to call it home.
As a child, the experience of this area is very optimistic. The school systems are incredible and the family life is very close and intimate. However, as you begin to grow up and learn more about this area, you find yourself bored. Teenagers resort to drugs in order to stay entertained throughout the weekends moving from marijuana all the way to police uncovering a heroine ring 10 miles from my home. The plus side is that the landscape is beautiful and there are many private roads where families can be sheltered from the world. However, looking back on my experiences here, I would not choose to live in this area again. I see the future of this small town becoming much more populated and crowded, more commercial business which would take away the small town feel.
