I am from a small town in North Carolina but moved to the Raleigh, Durham area for 18 years. After all of the crime, traffic and ever extending city limits i decided to look for a more practical way of living. I was a truck driver and could live anywhere and still make a living. I met my wife in clinton in 2002 and the rest is history. Not only did i fall in love with her i also fell in love with the small town charm with big city appeal. Clinton is a central point connector for many cities. 3 hours to Charelston, 5 1/2 to Atlanta, 5 hours to Jacksonville, 3 1/2 to myrtle beach. I love clinton and the atmosphere it gives.

I moved to Clinton about 10 years ago and fell in love with the small town charm! The people are friendly- schools are good - and a very simple way of living - we all look out for each other here and that's what makes it a great place to raise a family
I've lived in Clinton all my life and I can say Clinton is a family oriented town. They stick together, and have each other back. I like that Clinton is such a small town and everyone know everyone. One thing I would like to change about Clinton is the job. Clinton doesn't has many job opportunities. One has to drive at least 30 minutes for a decent paying job.
