Friendly, safe, good services, great schools, dog friendly, walk-able to restaurants and in town stores. People care about the town and their fellow residents. There are lots of well kept old houses. The iconic Red Mill is on one side of the river and another old mill housing an art center on the other side. An old iron truss bridge provides a scenic walk between the mills and continues to the shops. The active business community encourages activities and maintains a well kept appearance utilizing mostly old architecture buildings. Life in Clinton is like living in a Norman Rockwell painting.
There is so much to do in Clinton, so much to see, and such a typical town feeling! Great historical sights, lots of good food, and so many friendly faces as you walk down town or across the bridge looking towards the famous Red Mill.
Although I is a very nice neighborhood, there is not much of a united community. Neighbors hardly speak to each other and there are not many people around. Some of the children, especially this group of boys on bikes, are not so pleasant to deal with. Besides blocking the way for cars and causing traffic by loitering in the middle of the street, they also behave rudely to most adult around. Other than that, it usually a nice, but overly antisocial neighborhood.
