Clinton is a growing community that is a GREAT place for families. The community is quite; yet, there is always something that can be found to do for couples and families. Clinton is home to an excellent elementary, middle and high school. There are tons of activities within the school district for the kids from various sports, debate team, chess team and of course Attache which is our show choir. Clinton also has Mississippi College located in the heart of the city. We are close to the metro area to major industries and businesses. Clinton is just great all around and as we say: Family Belongs Here, Business Belongs Here and YOU Belong Here!

Clinton is a great place to live. I love that everything I need is essentially within the city limits. Most stores are fairly close to the housing available at the college, many times within walking distance depending on where you choose to live. I really enjoy the community, as it is full of nice people that really care about their families and kids. I have a church job and help teach music there in Clinton and the Clinton Public Schools have extremely strong music programs and a strong educational system in general.
As someone who has spent his entire life in Clinton, I can say that it is a great city! Clinton has something for everyone. The schools are excellent, it is home to a great college (Mississippi College), and you can always find something to fill you up at the numerous restaurants. Overall, Clinton is a fairly quiet city. It is classified as a city, but definitely has a small town vibe. The new police chief is curbing the crime that was bleeding over from Jackson and our mayor is actually a sincere politician. If you are looking to raise a family or want a nice place to retire to, Clinton, MS is your place. Singles and others who want to experience the hustle and bustle of city life should probably look elsewhere. While some might say Clinton has a snobby air about it (is there a city that doesn't have its snobs?), I can say majority of its citizens are good people you would like to call friend. Mississippi is the hospitality state and Clinton takes pride in answering that call.
