The people here are very friendly and helpful they look out for each other. Clinton needs more restaurants which they are in the process of getting. The police are friendly and protect the city very well. We have Norris Lake and park nearby and Knoxville is a short drive down the interstate. We are a hour away from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and the Great Smokie Mountains National Park. Clinton has a downtown full of antique stores and hold a fall festival with more dealers setting up in the streets and in early summer hold the county fair. This is a very great. place to live and the surrounding Cumberland Mountains can be seen to the north

Clinton has its perks. There is a very nice old-timey theater. The Clinton Public Library is incredible. The facility is great and the staff are lovely. It is a small community, and once you find your niche the people are nice. One of the main drawbacks is the fact that Clinton is primarily a low-income town. If you know where to look there are nicer communities in Clinton, but for the most part, Clinton is full of trailer parks and poorer/country neighborhoods.
Clinton, TN is the seat of Anderson County. It is a small town of less then 10000. There is a cute historic section downtown that brings in tourists. The town is starting to make investments, like a large park and a new bridge, into the improvement of the city. New business is coming to the city monthly. The potential is there for Clinton to be reborn but time and money will show if it all comes to fruition.
