Cliffside Park is a great place overall, very up-and-coming. The new high rise on Anderson Ave is bringing in new restaurants, bars and businesses. It’s a good choice for younger people who want to be close to NYC, but not pay the high rents of Hoboken and Jersey City.

I’ve been here for over eight years and love the diversity, food, safety, proximity to NYC and being able to walk to so much on Anderson Avenue. Most elementary schools are good, the high school is probably average at best. It’s more congested than most other parts of New Jersey and people generally keep to themselves. If you’re a family looking for a place with great schools, less congestion and friendly, outgoing neighbors, I’d recommend a town in NJ a bit further from NYC.

All things taken into consideration, I really enjoy living here in Cliffside Park!

Cliffside Park is a small community whereby many seem to know each other. IT is overall a friendly environment and very much alive. There are many families with children and there are also older individuals and so there is a sense of diversity in terms of age. In addition, there are many different ethnicities in this town. As result, there is opportunity to learn about different cultures and eat different foods are there are plenty of restaurants from different countries. Overall, Cliffside Park is a wonderful place to be.
Cliffside Park has always been my home. I grew up here, went through the public schooling system here since elementary school, and now it is my time to venture off into college. This town is an amazing town, and it has allowed for my personal growth. This town is very family friendly, and I appreciate all of it's town gatherings. It is fun and very ideal for building a family. It is known for it's diverse population, there's people from every country here! Commuting to NYC is about 30-40 minutes, but it's manageable.
