The area I live in is ideal for anyone who enjoys the outdoors and quiet. It is a beautiful place to live and its not surrounded by many of the negative aspects that are attached to living in the city. There isn't much, if any, crime, clean air, privacy and an overall welcoming environment. It is the typical suburban neighborhood with children outside and joggers going up the street. Being that I am only 19 I do like to get out and do things, and that is the only downfall. There isn't much to do around here. We live very far back into a farm area so it's only us and our neighbors. The lack of activities is what drew my parents here in the first place; and although it may be quiet, and sometimes even boring, the seclusion is sometimes a welcoming peace when I'm coming home from work.

My family and I have lived in this neighborhood for almost three years now, and I have yet to hear of any crime being committed in the area. I have seen the ambulance once and that was due to someones own health issues. Although I have not seen the cops in the neighborhood for criminal reasons, I am aware that there are two police officers who live right down the street. Them being here does provide a sense of comfort even if the most crime we've had is someones' mail box being backed into.
The weather here in North Carolina is very unpredictable. Some days in the winter it will be seventy degrees outside; while the next day it can be eight degrees and snowing. The summers are moderately hot but most times they are just perfect for enjoying the warm weather outside with a dip in a pool every now and then.

Natural disasters are not very common here at all. The hot and cold weather changes often cause severe thunderstorms, but that is pretty much the extent of our larger scale natural disasters.
