I love Cleveland, Oklahoma! Not only are Cleveland public schools the best around, our community can band together like no other! We are a small town full of amazing personality and smiles. I will never be ashamed to call my Cleveland, Ok my hometown!
I have lived in Cleveland my whole life. It has been an experience. I've never had any problems, personally, but I know of many people that have. Most of my family lives here, and we all seem to like it, since we all stay.
My experience living in Cleveland, Oklahoma for the almost seventeen years of my life would be described as safe. It's a small town that has a cozy feel to it. It's between Tulsa and Stillwater which is great for little outings. What I would like to see change in my town is to build or make something for young adults to shop or hang out. We only have Walmart and 90% of the time the movie theatre is shut down. Our city council wants to keep Cleveland a small town, but that being said the younger generation doesn't want to stay and live here because for higher education, job opportunities, and a livelier atmosphere.
