Cleveland, Mississippi. Home of Delta State University's Fighting Okra. Often overlooked, Cleveland is small college town with a big heart. Visitors and students from near and far will be welcomed just like a local. There's always something going on here. Have a passion for music? Take a walk to the Grammy Museum or check out the live music on Hey Joe's patio. Speaking of Hey Joe's, they've got some of the biggest, juiciest, most delicious burgers around. Maybe you're a family man? We've got plenty of opportunities around for unforgettable family memories. Check out the Train Museum or stick around for one of many festivals, such as Oktoberfest or 50 Nights of Lights around Christmas. Tired already? Call Cotton House, Cleveland's newest and biggest feature, your home. And don't forget to stop by and chow down at the renowned Delta Meat Market.

How can there be so much to do in such a small town? I guess you'll have to come find out for yourself.

Cleveland is a nice, affordable small town with friendly neighbors. It is a college town with more of a farming community than city amenities. The schools are average, and there are more Mexican restaurants and pizza restaurants than any other kind of restaurant. Small boutiques and shops line the downtown square, and the community comes together for any holiday or celebration.
Cleveland is a nice, small college town. They have the town motto “Keep Cleveland Boring”. This may scare many people away, but it is actually what makes this town unique. Cleveland, Mississippi prides itself in promoting local restaurants and bands that keep people on there feet. Besides the general fast food restaurants, there are no chain restaurants in Cleveland. There is not a movie theater or popular stores to shop. Everything in and about Cleveland, Mississippi is unique.
