I’ve lived in Clermont for over 6+ years and I love it! There are a lot of nice parks around and fun things to do for families around the area like sky zone, the movie theaters and several local shops. The area is very safe and great public schools for the children. There’s also a lot of nice homes and apartments being built frequently and growing job opportunities as the city progresses. Not a lot of nightlife though, but there is a few local bars like World of Beer that’s nice to go to. It’s also not to far from other main cities like Winter Garden and Orlando. I would say it’s about 35-40 minute commute. I would definitely recommend moving to this area especially for families
I love living in Clermont Florida. It is close (but not too close) to Disney and is home of the Citrus Tower. This tower, which once overlooked the many orange groves now stands as a landmark with meeting rooms and a coffee shop. Next door is the President's Museum which tells the story of the men who led our country. There are many parks, lakes, and opportunities for being close to nature and to exercise. There are several festivals each year including first Friday, Shred Fest, Pig on the Pond, and the triathlon festival. Come on over! There is something for everyone here!
Beautiful town, with really happy residents. Amazing views! Commute is easy, and we even use the boat ramp that is free to public right around the corner from our house. We go kayaking on the three lakes that are chained together, so there are little rivers connecting them. Endless kayaking adventures. There is a microbrewery, a winery, and lake-side bars and restraunts! At night from our back porch, since we are located at the top of a hill, we overlook the trees and watch the disney foreworks off in the distance, lighting up our sky 😍 really love living here.
