Clear Lake Reviews
I grew up and spend most of my life in Clear Lake, Iowa. Clear Lake offers a wide variety of entertainment from live music, entertainment, theater, a large lake excellent for water sports and fishing, and more! The thing I like the most about Clear Lake is the welcoming atmosphere the community provides for guests. People leave and end up coming back because they loved it so much. Clear Lake's population ends up basically doubling in the summertime because it is such a hot spot for tourists between the lake, and the historical Surf Ballroom where Buddy Holly played his last show!
I have grown up in Clear Lake my entire life. The community allows different types of people come together with activities such as the Kite Festival, Thursdays on Main, regattas, Art in the Park, and more. I personally do not attend the school district in Clear Lake, but it has its own achievements.
Living in Clear Lake, Iowa is wonderful, don't get me wrong. But there are very few activities to do during the winter or when it's chilly out. When summer comes along the lake is the place to be. Or the state parks or downtown. I love living in Clear Lake when the summer comes around because there is a ton of things to do. My favorite would probably have to be the week of the 4th of July. The huge carnival comes to town and the fireworks are beautiful!! So much fun activities to do around town and everybody seem so friendly.
