Clayton is an extremely clean, safe neighborhood with great restaurants, parks, and shopping. It is one of the more affluent areas of St. Louis, so cost of living is high, but you get what you pay for!
Nice neighborhood with top rated school district, centrally located with wide variety of restaurants that provide excellent dining options. The real estate cost is above average here due to the top rated schools.
Great urban area west of downtown St. Louis. Plenty of Restaurants. Great Schools. Walk to work, shop, eat, or work out.

Clayton is very safe and has some very nice areas. It is not super diverse and is fairly expensive, but I have heard the public schools are excellent. Clayton is home to Concordia Seminary, which has a beautiful campus. Clayton road is a busy thoroughfare, but most other streets are fairly quiet and residential. Good number of restaurants and grocery available.
Clayton is one of the best neighborhoods is the St. Louis area. Top rated schools, great neighbors, close proximity to everything the metro area, and walkable to restaurants, jobs, schools, and parks.
Beautiful suburb of St. Louis! Has a business district with shopping and restaurants, as well as very nice residential areas. Good place to live for students, young professionals, or families.
Clayton is a great place to live! It is such a tight knit community, so you really get to know everyone. The area is also very diverse. Clayton School district is the number one public school district so the education here is definitely worth living in the area.
It's the perfect city for its excellent schools, transportation, restaurants, local events, parks and recreation facilities, safe neighborhood, upscale homes
Clayton is a very high end suburb of St. Louis close to Washington University with lots of great shopping.
Although certain aspects of Clayton stand for a reevaluation (the cost of living, diversity), it was an incredible neighborhood to grow up in. As a child, I was completely safe and had access to some of the best public schools in the nation. And today, as a young adult, I find the night life to be exciting and open to anyone.
The best place to raise children. There is a value of diversity and education in this community. While we are considered a "suburb," of St. Louis, there is an urban feel. Fabulous place.
Clayton has one of the best school districts in the nation. Clayton also boasts multiple hotels, many excellent restaurants, and a couple nice parks.
Clayton is very close to most locations within Saint Louis. You are probably 15 minutes from the airport, downtown Saint Louis, South City, or Chesterfield
