Although Claymont is a great city, it is very small and not usually talked about when Delaware is mentioned. I enjoy the diversity in this city, you can meet people from so many places with several different backgrounds and cultures, it’s amazing! There are lots of families around so kids will surely be able to meet friends easily and everyone has a close bond. I would like to improve the entertainment in the area. There isn’t many “fun” hang out places for young people or even people of all ages to enjoy themselves freely. It would be nice to have a local skating ring, move theater, or any other outlet for entertainement more available.

Claymont is a very small town filled with friendly people and independently owned businesses. Short drive to many well known shopping locations, and restaurants. Several parks nearby for recreation purposes.
Claymont used to be a great town, but unfortunately is crumbling. Much of Claymont has a drug problem, and there isn't much to do as its a small town. Bar 13 is the only thing that offers night life. Not a totally terrible place to live, as Philadelphia is only 30 minutes away, and the Septa station is easily accessed. Elementary school doesn't seem terrible, and the local library is quite nice.
