In Herald, since it is a rural town, it is hard to compare it to other cities in the country. It has two stores, a general store and a tack shop that sells horse supplies. In general Herald is a great place however since it borders Galt there is the occasional strange pedestrian walking on the side of the street. I think the future will only bring better days for Herald as land increases in value.
I think this overall area is great, but I'm not sure if I would want to come back and live here. I think this area is the same in some ways and has improved a little in others. And unless it improves more/better, I will probably be living in a different area.
This area feels pretty safe; we haven't had a lot of problems; however, some points in time there have been burglaries which is sad/upsets people. You don't ever see the police.. we don't exactly have problems to be worried but it would be nice to see a police car around our neighborhood.
