What I like about Clarion, PA is it's small town feeling town. Everyone who lives here is amazing and respectful. The college here is out of this world awesome! If any student is looking for a big college atmosphere, but a small class size I would totally recommend Clarion University of Pennsylvania.

Clarion, Pennsylvania is a small town in Western Pennsylvania. Once full of manufacturing jobs, like all towns across America. Clarion has faced many challenges. Sustaining the business industry.

I love the town for all the quaint little things you cannot find anywhere else. One example is our Autumn Leaf Festival held in October. The leaves could not be more beautiful with a week long celebration along Main Street and 5th Avenue. A mini carnival, all the mobile food vendors you could think of! Apple Dumplings with Ice Cream are the BEST! There is a huge Farmers and Crafters fair which draws over 20,000 people!

The people I have met here have become my family. Moving 2 hours from home as a single parent wasn't easy, however we were embraced by so many loving people in this community. Clarion takes care of their own. Even those of us who were not born and raised here!
It's a smaller town, but very nice. People are mostly very friendly. Neighborhoods are family oriented. A lot of good school districts. Sidewalks take you everywhere so you can walk all over town if needed. Only thing I would change is the job opportunities here.
