I love the small town aspect, but wish we had a walmart or some kind of general store besides dollar general/hyvee. A lot of things you have to drive to the city for. But it is a quiet, nice town!

Clarinda is a small town in southwest Iowa. It is centrally located between Kansas City, Omaha, and Des Moines. It hosts the Glenn Miller Festival in June. Clarinda does not offer any entertainment besides a library, a small bowling alley, and several bars. Shopping is limited, as are restaurant choices.
