Claremont is a great small town with about 1300 residents. It's a pricey town with higher taxes & a booming industrial park. We have over 10,000 that commute in & out of our little town. The city is ridiculously tight with its money & slow to make upgrades. But, the folks are friendly & we love our neighbors! Elementary school in town is great, however, the middle & high schools have declined over the years. We are a football Friday night kinda town & love our Bears! All in all, I still couldn't see raising my family anywhere else.

Small town where everyone knows everyone and thier mom n em! Your kids can still go outside to play and you don't have to worry about them being kidnapped. Great police and fire Dept. I would be surprised if we have anything more than a "hunting out of season" or speeding tickets in the area. We have one grocery market,, 2 convince stores, a car wash and 5 churches within miles of one another. The town hall and library are in the same building. We have an industrial park where you will find many productive businesses such as Prysmian cables, and many more.
We respect our elderly, take care of and actually raise our children, football Friday nights and church on Sunday morning.
As close to Mayberry as you will get this day and age.
We love it here.
I love my town, it is the best place I have ever lived in. Everyone here is so nice and kind hearted. There's no place i'd rather be!
