The town of Cicero is a very family-friendly, cozy community. Cicero is also very sanitary, well-maintained, and safe! The roads are often renovated and the buildings remodeled in hopes to sustain the elegance of the town of Cicero!

Cicero offers your typical suburban lifestyle. With a the CNS public highschool centrally located and many grocery shop options, it is a convenient place to live. However, Cicero is not the place to be if you are looking for a nightlife or excessive options for entertainment. It is great that downtown Syracuse and the Destiny USA mall are only 10 miles away which provides great dinner spots and entertainment. I wish there were more 'things to do' in the heart of cicero and maybe a railtrail bike path or something outdoors but overall is a wonderfully safe and fun place to live.
I have lived in Cicero, NY for about two years now and I've realized this neighborhood is the template of where I'd like to settle down when I graduate college. The neighbors are very friendly but most of the time keep to themselves. There are many joggers and dog walkers that give you motivation to get up and go outside. Even though the nightlife isn't that great, anything you could ever think to need from groceries and drinks to clothes and shoes to hardware and household items is only a short drive away.
