Chippewa Township Reviews

Chippewa Township is a great place to live! Small town with a small town feel while still having access to great restaurants, big-chain retail shopping and mom and pop shops. The community regularly comes together to help others through fundraisers, parades, and comradery. A person can feel safe living in Chippewa Township with a low crime rate and a plentiful police force. It can be difficult to find homes for sale as it is a highly desired area to raise a family in the coveted school district. However, if you do find a home, you will find the cost to be reasonable. Chippewa has access to major highways and is 45 minutes from the popular City of Pittsburgh. I highly recommend Chippewa Township as a place to settle and raise a family.
It's pretty boring but there's decent job opportunities, it's safe, and the school district is decent. That being said, people here are "close-minded", if you know what I mean. I wouldn't recommend a family of color to move there since the school district is extremely racist.
Great place to live. Local shopping has all the amenities needed for the essentials. Located right off Interstate 376, we are close to crowded suburbia but far enough away to maintain a tranquil lifestyle. The Blackhawk School District graduates are prepared for success in college. The Township abuts a 2000 acre county park that has a lake, ice rink, tennis courts, and miles of trails for hiking and mountain biking. The Chippewa Police Department actively patrols my neighborhood and provides a visible deterrent to any potential criminal activity, The area is very safe and while not recommended you really have no need to lock your residence doors. Its a terrific area for families and retirees. Most kids flee the nest, but years later they return to begin raising their families.
