Chevy Chase Reviews
I love living in Chevy Chase! Wouldn't move anywhere else. It's safe, fun, family friendly, and I feel totally OK walking around at night on my nightly walks. The community is tight knit, and there are neighborhood parties and events to attend if that's your kind of thing. I lived in DC for years and bought a property in Martin's Additions and have not looked back!
I love it. Access to a lot of restaurants, shopping (from the basic mall to high-end stores), as well as easy access to the Metro, which can bring you anywhere. Great public education. Very, very safe.
The area where I live is incredible. We have a top education system, and incredible opportunities to explore museums and natural parks. The public transportation system is effective and affordable, making access to Washington D.C. and Virginia easy. Overall the area is growing and developing successful businesses and there are several movie theaters and restaurants within walking distance from residential areas. Overall the place is safe, clean, and supportive of bigger and better businesses. I believe this area will continue to grow and improve over time.
