Generally you get the diversity of all four seasons, so a rainy spring, a hot summer, a cool fall and a cold and snowy winter. Weather doesn't really impact your life around here, for the most part, the towns are pretty good about keeping up with problems that occur if they do. Sometimes we get severe storms, like Sandy, happened a few years ago and we've had some bad winter storms in our history. Around here it's important you have summer clothes and winter clothes. So shorts and t-shirts to heavy winter coats. Also a rain jacket is an essential around here as well.

The neighborhood where I lived for most of my life is amazing. It had woodlands and streams and everyone in the community knew each other. I could walk safely through the neighborhoods and always have a friend to be with.
The town is really small, but neighboring towns offer a ton of options without having to travel more than ten minutes. The Palisades Mall and the Shops at Nanuet, along with the Rockland Plaza all offer tons of stores and restaurants. Nothing is inconvenient to get to and I've never had a problem with finding something I needed.
