Moved here from Wisconsin and bought a home overlooking the South Fork Spring River and the North Golf Course. What a wonderful place this is. The people are so nice and there are golf scrambles every day that you can just show up and play. The courses are otherwise quite open without a tee time. Just go and play. There are two great courses that can test your abilities. The lakes and rivers are great for fishing, swimming, tubing, kayaks and canoes. The scenery is spectacular and has a wide variety of wildlife and birds to watch. Food is good and inexpensive to dine out. Not for everyone, but no place is.
Cherokee Village is an interesting town, to say the least, it's definitely not average. It's not always been an amazing experience, but lately, the community has been growing and it has felt more homely. We are working together to make it a better place, and it is feeling amazing but there are still things to work on like any other town.
One of the best places to live. Lots of lakes, 2 rivers, and friendly people. I have lived here all my life and I absolutely love it. This place is full of beauty and nature thrives one every square foot of this enticing land. There is no where like the Cherokee Village are anywhere else in the United States of America and that is exactly why this land is so unique and breath taking. I wish that I was in real estate, I would travel all over america to advertise and draw more people to see and live in a place that could possibly be their dream home. If you are a nature enthusiast I would highly recommend visiting and exploring Cherokee Village and the rest of the beautiful surrounding areas.
