The thing that won Chaska over for me, besides being a legitimate small town, is that it was originally made to be a hippy compound. That being said, there are over 1000 miles of trail that will literally bring you wherever your heart desires in this idyllic MN town. People know you by name, yet it’s also big enough to remain anonymous if you’d like. Absolutely love it here, and didn’t think I would when I first landed!

I have lived in Chaska my whole life, I don't know other cities other than chaska! One thing that I particularly enjoy is the small town. Living in Minnesota, we have the stereotype that Minnesotans are fairly friendly, which is true. We don't have the smallest town or biggest but it is just big enough that we might see familiar faces around and not have overcrowding. Everyone here is nice and if I need groceries, I have more than four around to choose from. We just recently had the Ryder Cup here so telling others about that fascinates them. One thing I would change is the amount of roads that are worked on. But that is out of my control.
The city of Chaska is unlike any other city. It is family friendly and has an amazing school district. The town is far enough away from the city that you don't have the crazy traffic, but close enough that you can get there in a short car ride. There are many local food joints for all tastes. The city finally upgraded firemans park and has since become the focal point for community in the summer time. Over all a great place to live!
