I LOVE IT HERE!

As a high school student who has lived here my entire life, I can not speak more highly of Chaska. The schools are great, the people are great, the parks are great, the paths are great, the restraints are great. Every night in the summer you will find people out and walking everywhere. Community and neighborhoods are really strong here. Chaska pride is very prevalent and cities around us have it too so it's super fun. High school sports are awesome too!

The thing that won Chaska over for me, besides being a legitimate small town, is that it was originally made to be a hippy compound. That being said, there are over 1000 miles of trail that will literally bring you wherever your heart desires in this idyllic MN town. People know you by name, yet it’s also big enough to remain anonymous if you’d like. Absolutely love it here, and didn’t think I would when I first landed!
I would say Chaska is one of the few great places in Minnesota to start a small business. We have had our Minnesota Garden Center in multiple cities in the surrounding suburbs of Mpls, and hands down working with Chaska is so simple. From getting permits, our inspections, to our license it's all been a walk in the park.
In the last 6 years we have never had a problem, the customer base gravitates to small business.
